Crypto billionaire store Montréala, Canada is getting ready to announce a partnership with crypto billionaire store Toronto FC, the club’s owner announced Monday.
The two clubs will create a crypto store with the intention of selling the blockchain technology behind cryptocurrency to the public, said Alexandre Lacazette, the team’s vice president of soccer operations.
The team’s first purchase of a cryptocurrency was made last December.
The new store, which is currently open to all Canadian soccer teams, will open in February, according to Lacazetta.
Lacazette said the store is still in the early stages of planning, but that it will be open to players, officials, coaches and fans, as well as other crypto enthusiasts.
Lacané, who was also in Toronto for the pre-season friendly against FC Montreal, said he and his team have been looking for a venue for the crypto store to open.
He said he expects the team will soon launch a social media site for its fans, and that he hopes to have a cryptocurrency-based platform that will allow fans to follow teams and events through its site.
The store, Lacazettes said, will be available to purchase and sell crypto tokens and other digital assets on the Toronto FC site.
Crypto billionaire shop is open to fans and supporters of Canadian soccer clubs, and is expected to launch in February.
The team’s next purchase of crypto tokens was made in December, when Toronto FC bought the majority stake in a company called Crypto Billionaires, which was established by Lacazetes father, Alexandre.
